(Applicable to Associate Degrees, Continuing Education, and On-Demand Courses)

1. Scope of Application

These Terms and Conditions apply to all educational services provided by School of the Arts and Media Institute of Miami Corp (hereafter “the Institution”), including:

(1) Associate Degree Programs

(2) Continuing Education Programs

(3) On-Demand Courses (asynchronous online programs)

By enrolling in or purchasing any of the above, the client agrees to these Terms and Conditions in full.

2. Waiver of Client’s Terms

The client expressly waives the application of their own terms and conditions, even if created after this document. Any exception to these Terms must be agreed upon in writing in advance.

3. Payments and Deadlines

For Associate Degree Programs, payments must follow the plan outlined in the official enrollment agreement or financing contract.

For Continuing Education and On-Demand Courses, full payment is required prior to the start of the course. No access to content, platforms, classes, or certification will be granted until payment is completed.

4. Financing Terms

If a client opts for financing or payment plans, the terms will be governed by a separate, signed contract. Access to the program requires compliance with that agreement and minimum payment obligations.

5. Service Fees and Penalties

Non-sufficient Funds Fee: US $50.00

Late Payment Fee: US $30.00

Overdue balances may incur fixed interest of 10% of the outstanding amount.

If the balance remains unpaid after 60 days, the Institution reserves the right to engage a debt collection agency. All associated legal and administrative costs will be the client’s responsibility.

6. Suspension of Services

The Institution reserves the right to suspend or block access to classes, digital platforms, course materials, services, or certifications without notice in the event of late or failed payments.

7. Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

In the case of Associate Degrees, any exceptional refund considerations will be subject to the Institutional Refund Policy detailed in the official Academic Catalog.

By registering, the client acknowledges and accepts this no-refund policy.

8. International Tax Withholding

If the client is located in a country that imposes tax withholding at the source, such tax is the sole responsibility of the client. The full invoice amount remains payable to the Institution, regardless of the client’s local tax laws.

9. Service Quality and Limitation of Liability

The Institution agrees to provide services professionally and in accordance with its standards. However, it does not guarantee specific outcomes (such as academic success, certification, or employment).

The Institution will not serve as a third party in any claim made by an end-user or third party against the client.

10. Claims Process

Any claim must be submitted in writing via certified mail to the Institution's official address within 8 business days from the date of service delivery or occurrence of the issue.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

All contractual relationships will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the United States of America.

Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Florida
